Family of Six - Downers Grove at Home Newborn and Baby Photography

Why have your newborn photo shoot at home?

Well my answer to that would be: Why take a brand new baby out of the house and sit on a sore bum for hours away from the comfort of your home?

These are some of the things I considered when creating the Snuggly At Home Newborn Sessions

One of the biggest reasons why newborn sessions take place at home is that you get to be at HOME.

You don’t need to rush, in fact I’ll probably run ten minutes late, and if you are still not ready when I arrive, no worries! I’ll take photos of the baby, and your other kiddos or just entertain them until you feel your face in ON.

Because you deserve great photos, you deserve to feel good and you should feel comfortable AND pretty.

It may also be difficult to bring your entire family to a studio and sibling or family photos may be limited. I don’t know about you but my very very favorite photos are of all my kids together. HEART FULL!

Your new baby is a new person in your family, I want to photograph the way they fit in, how your kiddos love him, how he already knows his siblings voices.

I want to document the pride and love on your face when you hold all your babies in your arms, the way your partner looks at you with admiration.

These Newborn sessions are designed for you, Mom. Do this for yourself, document those fleeting and authentic moments.

I can promise you a few things:

  1. Your newborn shoot will feel relaxing.

  2. Dad will love it - many have said: “That wasn’t so bad, it was fun.”

  3. Your kids do NOT have to behave* in fact my rule is while I’m there I’m in charge and as long as they aren’t breaking things or getting hurt they listen to me and I am there to PLAY (read more in the newborn getting ready guide)

  4. You will LOOK GOOD - my priority is to always make mom look good

  5. You will absolutely LOVE your photos and cherish them and those little moments years from now.
